Tired of struggling and feeling misunderstood?

Our welcoming, non-clinical, professionally facilitated groups fill the gap in adult ADHD support.

Accept yourself, better manage your ADHD, and discover that you are capable of living the life you want with ease.

You don’t have to do it alone.

A staircase in a dark and dense but beautiful forest typical of North Vancouver. It is an analogy for personal growth with ADHD in Vancouver.

What does taking a step toward supporting yourself look like?

Yes, it can be anxiety provoking to arrive to a group event on your own, but what might it lead to? Will you push yourself?

Imagine showing up at an organized gathering, either in-person or online, that you have chosen from a calendar of free events. The authentic and kind energy of the group allows you to quickly feel at ease. You relax as you realize that you are not being judged. No more energy drain of constantly being on edge in case you “mess up”. No need to over explain yourself. You are in the company of others who “get it” and finally feel understood.

You are together with neurodivergent folks, each working at their own pace, on their own growth, who genuinely want the best for both you, and for themselves. You find it motivating to be around others who are choosing challenge and vulnerability. In this group you know you are safe and accepted. You can feel it.

Friends, this is the foundation on which learning and self acceptance happens. This is the culture at the adhd SOCIAL HUB.

If you identify as being neurodivergent and are looking to add support to your life, please join us.

You are welcome here. The adhd SOCIAL HUB is your group for growth.

The Basics

WHY- Our professionally facilitated, informal group support is cost effective (free!), allows people to grow at their own pace, as little or as much as they want, and helps to address our basic human need for connection. Are you struggling more than you know you should? Life doesn’t have to be so hard. Come join us!

WHO- Adults in the Metro Vancouver area who identify with having ADHD, AUDHD, or as neurodivergent.

WHAT- Structured group support, education, and social events to better manage your ADHD, build skills, and feel less alone. ADHD management strategies, tips and printable pdf’s on our blog.

HOW- You will book activities of your choice from our calendar of events. Easy, peasy.

WHEN- Free events happen 2-4 times per month. Sign up for our newsletter to stay in the loop for upcoming workshops and promotions. I also post updates on the blog.

WHERE- In-person sessions are held in the Metro Vancouver area and online sessions can be enjoyed from the comfort of wherever you like.

COST- group events are FREE. Some events, such as a soccer game or a kayaking tour, might have a charge from the vendor (at our discounted group pricing).

Paid options are one on one coaching. There will also be a workshop series offered in the future. Stay updated by checking our blog regularly or signing up for the newsletter.

WHAT’S THE CATCH?- I have a desire for us to grow this community together. What I ask in return of those who attend our free events is that you fill out a short survey giving your honest feedback after each event you attend. In the future if needed, you might consider volunteering with an event/request. Most importantly, respect the social hub values of kindness, safety and support and please DO NOT no show on your bookings. It prevents others from having the spot (we have class size limits). Skill building is part of the culture here, so this is your opportunity to show up for what you commit to or communicate if you need to cancel. Thank you.

Yes, it is costly for me (time, technology & education) to host these groups, but I see the huge gap in social supports for adults with ADHD in Vancouver. It upsets me so much that I WILL find a way to make this sustainable. I believe that when we combine informal supports with formal supports we set ourselves up for success. Experience it and find out for yourself. You are welcome here!

*Our groups are considered informal support and do not provide, nor are a replacement for therapy, counselling, or medical advice.
